Zoned Heating & Heating Controls

Traditional heating systems generally tend to be set to turn on at pre-determined times during the day or night, heating the water and supplying any radiators that happen to be turned on at that time. While they generally work very well, they can be wasteful in terms of heating rooms that may not be being used – such as bedrooms during the day or downstairs rooms at night time.

Similarly, we often turn on “the heating” purely in order to have a quick shower or bath, forgetting that many of the radiators are still open – thereby again wasting energy and driving up costs. With the best will in the world, we’re not always going to go round the radiators and manually turn them off or shut off the radiator feed at the cylinder.

With Zoned Heating Controls you have much better control over which parts of your house you want to heat at any given time, resulting in a much more efficient – and cheaper to run, system.
